What is Nutritional Therapy? We’re glad you asked! Nutritional Therapy works to seek the root cause as to what is holding you back from achieving your health and wellness goals. Together, using detailed health histories, extensive questionnaires, and specific laboratory testing, we’ll be able to create a bioindividual nutrition, lifestyle, and exercise plan that suits your unique needs!
Olivia’s specialties include blood sugar regulation, digestive health, stress management, and hormone imbalances. When working with clients, she utilizes the following healing tools:

I grew up on a farm outside of Elgin, NE, and graduated from Pope John XXIII Central Catholic High School before moving to Lincoln to continue my education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There, I found that my passion was in holistic health and nutrition, which I had discovered through my own self-study while working to heal my body after a long bout of health issues which stemmed from my years of dealing with anorexia, over-exercising, and adrenal/hormone issues.
Over the next few years after graduating from UNL, I decided to continue my education in the holistic health industry through courses from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition where I became a Holistic Health Coach, the Nutritional Therapy Association where I earned my certification as a Nutritional Therapy Consultant, and Restorative Wellness Solutions in which I am Level 1, 2, and 3 certified. I am also an active 21 Day Sugar Detox Coach, which is a program that focuses on using real, whole foods to help eliminate inflammation and sugar cravings.
Recently, I worked at Prairie Life Fitness in Lincoln, NE, as a Personal Trainer and Holistic Health Coach where I was able to work one-on-one with clients for nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes, as well as host a number of wellness seminars and nutrition small groups. From that work, as well as managing my own chronic health issues, I’ve discovered that my specialties are blood sugar regulation, digestive health, hormone imbalances, and stress management. I see the body as a whole unit working as one; in order to heal, we need to seek the root cause as to what is ailing us!
In my (albeit rare!) spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading all I can about holistic health, lifting weights, walking at Holmes Lake, listening to podcasts, and playing recreational sand volleyball and softball. I also spend my time working on my health and wellness blog at nourishwitholivia.com, my *new!* podcast Nourish with Olivia, and my meal prepping business Personal Prep.
